The action in game feels really good. It’s not complex. You’ll mostly be mashing the basic attack button and pressing dodge whenever an attack is incoming. You’ll string in the reload button. Weave in and out of the fray with the dodge while doing so to keep moving and on the offensive. There’s also a parry you’ll make use of against some of the tougher enemies. But for the most part, it’s a lot easier to dodge to avoid damage and charge special attack meter. The action itself is enough for me to recommend this title. But again, it’s not got a whole lot of content. Also, again, there seem to be some technical issues that other users have been experiencing, so buyer beware.

If I recall correctly, the normal way to unlock Lei is to beat floor 100. Which in itself takes a couple hours of play, assuming you can even make it that far. On a side note, this game features Ai wa Kimi no Mono by Broken By The Scream. Which introduced me to this screamo metal idol unit. That’s a big plus. The graphics are outstanding, the effects are flooding the screen, animations smooth as silk and the controls are dead perfect. Combat feels as responsive as any Platinum game.
