Guns Undarkness Game Play
Guns Undarkness is a futuristic JRPG that blends tactical positioning with turn-based strategy. During game-play, the player takes control of the Protagonist and up to three allies. You use hand signals to guide your allies to specific spots and then instruct them to provide cover for you. Once you’ve positioned your team effectively and have the enemy in your sights, it’s time to open fire!
If your team engages the enemy while remaining completely hidden, you activate an attack bonus. The more you fire during this bonus, the greater the damage you inflict before the battle officially begins. Whether hidden or not, once you open fire on the enemy, your team will transition into a turn-based battle.
Basic attacks are actions that don’t deplete your SP (Skill Points). While Skills use SP but deliver a more powerful punch. Attacking from behind cover? That allows you to unleash your skills without consuming your SP! The damage you deal depends on the affinity of your weapon and the TAGS (defense suit) of your target. Hitting an enemy’s weak point can result in massive damage.
If you hit an enemy’s weak point with a normal attack, you can quickly take cover. All skills are formidable, and some guns come with unique buff and debuff abilities. Winning a battle earns your team two types of experience points: Character EXP and Gun EXP. As characters level up, their stats improve, and they gain access to new gun skills.
